Sergeant's Story:
Sergeant is a younger belgian draft gelding. One vet aged him
at 6 when his coggins was done, and the vet who did his vaccinations
guessed 8.
He is friendly & sound! He is easy to catch and has not shown
any signs of aggression or vices. He's in good weight and seems
to be an easy keeper.
He doesn't need shoes. He arrived with hooves terribly overgrown,
and with a few more farrier visits they'll be back to normal but
right now there are still some cracks. Cracks growing out nicely.
The only thing we can find wrong with him is that he's green,
so he'll need someone willing to invest time in his training.
He came through a low-end auction in the middle of Lancaster County
PA (Penn Dutch County), so odds are he was raised to do harness
work.
