Dear caring horse person,

Thanks to your ongoing support, we made it through the winter just fine! We sheltered a dozen horses.

Now that Spring is almost upon us, it's time for Spring shots. It's important to give the shots for insect-spread diseases in spring when the insect population is about to explode. This protects our horses from terrible diseases such as West Nile and Encephalitis.

Each horse also gets a quick annual exam. Most of them also need their Coggins tests (annual) updated in the spring. And a few are also due for dental care.

The cost per horse is about $150 and if dental care is required, it's over $200.

We are also accepting donations of horse related items. What we cannot use, we clean up and offer for sale at our tack sales, and the money raised goes back to our general fund for projects such as spring vaccionations.
